A beginning

For a long time I spurned the idea of having a personal blog, I didn't feel I had enough to say to bother making one let along keeping it up to date. After some consideration, brought on by pondering about a tool Cory Doctorow had made to track what else was going on in his life while he was writing, I decided it was time to open the doors on this domain i'd been sitting on for a while now.

I plan to use this site to chronicle a number of things going on in my life, from my attempts to become more fit (I sit at a computer for a living, and for my hobbies, and for fun), through my endeavour to publish a textbook on BSD Administration. Hope you enjoy the show.
